Network3 is a Web3 mining platform who provides specialized hardware that validate blockchain transactions and earn cryptos as rewards.


They wanted to bring users closer. Building on the upgraded dashboard, we created a reward system that let users earn NFTs through completing tasks.

The old dashboard has some problems, especially the unclear hierarchy results in user confusions. We reorganized the modules, adding a new feature module to engage participants.

A dedicated space to treat rewards as collections

In order to make the rewards more appealing, we isolated the task feature from the task completion flow. Meanwhile, we used a gallery pattern for easy using and expanding needs.

The rules are complicated, in order to differentiate them. There are many states. However, the list pattern creates a heavy cognitive load.

Final Version: A flow only focus on the primary task

In the end, we settled on a simple task flow that only focuses on one task at the same time. Make users engage and complete the flow smoothly and effortlessly.

It reminded me that good design starts with empathy, understanding what actually matters to users, not what we assume matters.
